This Jyotirlinga is located in the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh. It is situated on the banks of river Narmada. The shape of Shivling situated here is of the shape of Om. That is why it is called Omkareshwar.

3. Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Temple – Srisailam, Andhrapradesh

This Jyotirlinga temple is located in Srisailam town of the Nandyal district in Andhrapradesh. It is believed about this Jyotirlinga temple that Lord Shiva and his wife Parvati had come here to please their elder son Kartikeyan.

9. Baidyanath Mahadev Jyotirlinga Temple – Deogarh, Jharkhand
